if you've already been 'announced' and were at the kingdom hall to hear it, how did it feel?

i think when my time comes i may be there.

a part of me says "sod 'em", but another part wants them to see how happy i am.. hmmm, not sure..

hi everybody and happy new year.

2007 is the year i turn 40, in fact in exactly one month's time to be precise.. i've noted that a lot of people on jwd are a similar age to me.

i think it's because it takes us this long to pluck up the courage to finally leave the borg.. i need to know how turning 40 makes you feel.

as many of you know, i have a stalker - a guy stalker.

he's been stalking me for almost five years now since i ended our friendship (which lasted 19 years).

the fact that the guy seems completely obsessed about me weirds me out a little bit.

All I have to say is ... where is Walter when we need him. I loved that guy!!!
Class act, all the way.
I think this is the Chargers year, too. I like that Tomlinson doesn't do a stupid in-your-face end zone dance when he scores, like he's never been there before and will never be there again. (Of course, I haven't seen every one of his gazillion TDs this year, but I get the impression he's also a class act.)

i recently read of a survey regarding unhappy wives.

it seems that nearly most women wouldn't do it all over again with the same man.

they were unhappy for various reasons.

But who knows what it would be like in the midst of shared real-world pressures? Hopefully the same, only more so. Hopefully we'll have a chance to find out some day...

hey, this is under jokes and humor, so don't get too offended.

i just wanted to vent about how people say things incorrectly, such as pronouncing things wrong or saying phrases wrong.

i'll start, and if you have any to add, please feel free.

I happen to be "pretty good" at spelling, so I like to "pick apart" mispelled words, just for laughs.
Please don't hate me, but you misspelled "misspelled".
Y'all have hit on some of my favorites. It bugs me when people don't know the difference between "you're" and "your" and when they write "could of, would of, should of" instead of "could have, etc."
I think 95% of the posts on this board have some error or another (grammar/spelling/punctuation), but I've just had to learn to look past that and consider the actual content of what's been posted instead of the presentation. To be brutally honest, though, when a person can't put a coherent sentence together, I have a very difficult time taking anything they say seriously. We can't all fall back on dyslexia.
